my youth is dancing in a wispy long white dress
the sun is my music
the breeze is my partner

gradually peacefully i am transforming

my face has its poetry written on it
my clothes have their age showing
my son is running towards me
and giving me a kiss

marsh marigolds on the same meadow

marsh marigolds on the same meadow
bear the burden of the slaughtered people
or know nothing about the war

silence

in the vase flowers die helplessly
because of the human whim

animals devour each other
it is not the result of their original sin

shattered dogs
muzzle their owners

children told lies
do not want to become adults

hope

i recognize joy
in a letter from little annie

the holy bread grows plump
under my spell

the subcelestial rainbow falls asleep
in its smile

the peaceful moon tells the story
about salvation during this life
